Any clue waht this means 'Microsoft.DataProxy.Exceptions.HybridException' ?

A refesh failed on one of my datasets last night and I got an email that says:

An error occurred while processing the data in the dataset. 

Exception of type 'Microsoft.DataProxy.Exceptions.HybridException' was thrown.

I searched but found no explanations for that message which I have never seen before.

    I had the same issues this morning. My Desktop version is up to date and checked the credentials too.

     

    Anything else i can check?

    We had the same issue, but in our case it had to do with the user acccount setup to connect to the Data Source was incorrect .

  • Just ran into the same error message, but it is not related to the account, did you find out what it was ?

      I don't recall exactly but I think it had something to do with upgrading my Power BI Desktop to the latest version and then trying to refresh some reports on the Power BI service that were created from an older version.  Re-publishing the file from Power BI Desktop and then refreshesing took care of the problem ... I think!  Did you recently update your Power BI Desktop?
