Adding Google Analytics, stuck at "Please hold on while we load a few things..."

While attempting to add Google Analytics service, I am stuck after clicking add at the screen saying "Please hold on while we load a few things..."

 

I left this screen running for about 10 mins. I've tried a few times and it just will not proceed.

 

Please advise.

    Hi graphnical,

    What web browser do you use? At the first time, I connect to the Google Analytics content pack after signing in Power BI Service using Chrome, it fails.

    Several minutes later, I sign in Power BI Service in Edge and try to connect to the Google Analytics content pack again, it successfully load data, you can check the following screenshots. Could you please use different web browsers and then connect to the Google Analytics content pack? Also please make sure you follow the instructions in this article: Google Analytics content pack for Power BI.

    Hi graphnical were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the GA connector in the data sources list:

     

     

    After that, just grant access to your GA account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your GA fields:

     

     

    There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
