Add field in Source Data file - Doesnt appear in PQ

Hello,   I have many files in a folder with all the same structure. I am consolidating all of these files in PQ.  I added a column in the files but getting that column to add in PQ is not so stra...

Hi VishalJhaveri, it looks like a plan to me.  I will test it soon.  i assume that in step 5 I have to select all the fields or only the field that is missing?

Hi VishaJhaveri, thank you. Please see attached 2 files.  The PQ and the data file. I have pared down the data file.   I have also explained what I am looking for in the data file.  The column I need added is the column named "Column 1" in the data file and is Col P.  The name of the column should be "Budget Category" but I have an error if I renamed the file so I left the name as simply "column 1" the default name.   let me know if you have any questions.   thanks again for the help.  I appreciate it.
