Hi @charlieman ,
According to your description, the field in your Azure DevOps has data, but it shows up as null in the power query.To resolve this issue. First, you need to make sure that the data type of the custom field in Azure DevOps (ADO) is compatible with Power Query. A mismatched data type will not be recognized by Power Query. Second , verify that the custom field is visible and accessible in the dataset imported into Power Query. Sometimes, fields may be hidden or not included in the query. Finally, check that you have the necessary permissions to access the custom field data in ADO. Lack of permissions may result in null values.

Best regards,
Albert He

@charlieman

Check Data Type: Verify the data type of the custom field in Azure DevOps. If it’s a complex type like HTML, consider converting it to a simpler type before importing it into Power BI.

try to adjust Adjust Privacy Settings: Go to File > Options and settings > Data source settings in Power BI, and adjust the privacy levels for your data sources.
