ADBC Bug
Hi charleshale ,
Please try below workarounds to fix the issue.
1. Please disable the “Use new Google BigQuery connector implementation” preview option and re-try.
2. Uninstall the exiting Power bi desktop and Re-install November 2025 desktop standalone application from the below link and try.

Steps taken:
- On Power BI Desktop, click File > Options and settings > Options.
- Click Preview Feature.
- Select Use new Databricks connector implementations.
- Reboot
- Manual run query in m query using Implementation = 2.0 (which has been the use case for these scripts
We still get the error "Expression.Error: ADBC: Could not load file or assembly 'Apache.Arrow.Adbc.Telemetry.Traces.Listeners, Version=0.21.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=204f54e5a45c07df' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
While the m query can run without Implementation = 2.0, doing that causes material problems since the Big Query JSON needs 2.0 to parse correctly
