Here is a list of non-datasource functions that are not avialable in Mac:
Geography.FromWellKnownText
Geography.ToWellKnownText
GeographyPoint.From
Geometry.FromWellKnownText
Geometry.ToWellKnownText
GeometryPoint.From
Table.AddFuzzyClusterColumn
Table.FuzzyGroup
Table.FuzzyJoin
Table.FuzzyNestedJoin
Yes the second link requires an organization email. The organization has controls on this site.
All non-datasource functions are avialable on Mac.
To the best of my knowledge, most functions in Windows Excel are also on Mac.
If you create a custom query with:
#shared
you will see all functions avialable.

Update history should be part of Excel update history
Difference from Windows: The Mac version has the same user interface as the online service at https://powerbi.com
and includes some features that the Windows version doesn't.
Note: Excel is currently the only way to use power query on a Mac.
