Dear fellow Fabric and/or Power Platform users,
Since quite some years I'm all-in the Power Platform. Using Dataverse as the primary data-hub for much of my apps, reports and automate flows. Those processes read data from Dataverse but also input/update records.
As Fabric came to my attention earlier this year, I was wondering how such would fit in my existing Power Platform landscape. I'm really looking into using Fabric as my main data-store instead of Dataverse. Both at least offer the dataflows (though Gen2 in Fabric) so I can get data stored effortlessly in Fabric as I did in Dataverse before.
But the catch are my input/update scripts within the Power Platform. As Dataverse is seemlessly integrated into Power Platform, with its connectors embedded easily, I wonder can I expect such 'link' with Fabric as well. So for example I could link up an Automate process retrieving x-records and complement them with additional data? Seems I can now only use SQL connectors in PowerPlatform to get to Fabric.
Other (not preferred) solution would be to have my transactional and dimensional data both in Dataverse as in Fabric, so do a 2-way sync on certain tables which I need in my Power Platform.
