Can powerapps use power bi report as database?

hello team,

I am quite new to powerapps. could you please help?

I want to create a powerapps which needs connecting to a BI report(shared by other people, read only access) as database. 

After connected, i need read some BI data,e.g. get the status of a request, approve date,etc..

Is this possible? if yes, please specify the steps.
