BI solution embedded in our software

Dear All,

We are currently developping a web application (Front End with React and Back End with Spring Boot).

This application will be hosted either on the cloud (Saas) or on local premise and the database can be either SQL Server or Oracle.

We will provide reporting capabilities and we are thinking about using Power BI.

We want the BI being embedded in the app. We saw that there is Power BI Embeded but it's not clear for if the report should be published on App.PowerBI.com or if a PowerBI Report Server must be installed on Premise. Can you please help?

On top of that, if our customer decides to go with cloud solutions, how the Power BI reports published and where?
