A Shared Power-BI pbx file doesn't reflect changes after refresh

A Sharepoint list I made contains about 500 items. I am creating dashboards from the list using the Power BI service. Coworkers can access the list and Power-BI service.

I'm currently preparing to take a lengthy break from work. My colleague will now cover me. In order for him to publish a new report from my list, I shared my Power-BI I Pbx file with him.

Problem:

Despite my colleague being able to update his Power BI Pbx file from my Microsoft list, his report does not show the changes. Is there a way to make this right?

If the data is not showing changes within PBI Desktop--Make sure you're refreshing the dataset, within PBI Desktop.

I would also make sure the data source credentials are set up properly--both in the PBI desktop and in the service.
