Hi mattlee​ ,

I've been eager to get my PBI desktop updated so I could check the same, and can now confirm I'm seeing the same issue. No changes in the report, and was working perfectly fine yesterday. I'm in the UK and everything in PBI service is still working okay for Azure map visuals (thankfully), but not showing in desktop. Screenshots below for reference.

Hope there's a fix soon, just glad it's not effecting our external customers (we distribute hundreds of reports in 'app owns data' embedded scenarios).

There was a QFE issued yesterday, can you try to update your September Desktop. We did find an issue for some regions coordinating with the core Azure Map team, and we disabled a flight that should resolve this.

    Hi mattlee​,

    Yes, I can confirm the first QFE for September release fixed the Azure map issue above, thanks. As per akejoh's post, can you also advise on the status of the QFE change log? It seems to have fallen out of the loop since late March of this year.

    This Azure bug reached Australia over the weekend. On 26/10/2026 we are now getting a full white blank visual. It was ok on 23/10.
