The use of analytics within the organization is a daily practice for many. Stakeholders across organizations rely on the information and insights to take decisions and actions, making analytics mission-critical to the success of the organization. As users consume more, they also require more of their analytics- more data in a single report, smarter and easier ways to answer questions, and obviously data must always be fresh, available and reliable. To keep up with the ongoing requirements, BI teams are required to deliver updates faster while maintaining excellent quality so end-users will not lose trust in the data.
We are happy to announce the public preview release of Power BI Deployment pipelines, a new and improved way for BI teams to manage content lifecycle within Power BI Premium.
Why should BI creators use deployment pipelines?
Deployment pipelines help enterprise BI teams build an efficient and reusable process by maintaining development, test, and production environments. BI creators can incrementally transition new or updated content between environments, reconfiguring them with the appropriate data connections and permissions. Pipelines are very easy to use and take only few minutes to setup. No previous expertise or coding skills required.
