As part of the Gartner Data and Analytics Summit EMEA in London, UK, Gartner invited Microsoft to participate in their bake-off event. This year’s topic was the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and we dug into data around access to electricity and CO2 emissions.
The bake-off has been running for a number of years - the participating vendors are given a dataset and a script of which capabilities Gartner want to see demonstrated. The sections are very short, typically 3-4 minutes each, and we’re challenged to demo against each other on stage! Earlier in the year, Gartner named Power BI a Leader in the 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms.
