Welcome to our first QuickViz challenge: Raise the bar 📊

These challenges are a fun way to practice your data visualization skills, experiment with Power BI, and share your insights with the community. These are meant to be quick, easy, and fun! Please attach your .pbix file so that the rest of us can learn from you!

Requirements:

  • Use the bar chart core visual
  • Add some visual formatting
  • Keep it simple

Submit your .pbix in the QuickViz gallery! Just upload the .pbix and we'll publish it for you so that people can see it and vote!

Be sure to submit by the 13th at 11:59pm Pacific time. If you miss the deadline, that's okay! We'll start week 2 at 8am the next morning (the 14th).

I used the 'enter data' feature for the sample file and added data about the number of Fabric Data Days sessions. You're welcome to use this data, or create your own!

great

@Rufyda so glad you found it! I'm excited to see what you create!

Eagerly waiting for it.

Greater than the information

Big thanks to the Microsoft Fabric Community for giving us the chance to join such a high-level competition. Really appreciate the opportunity!

Can we use our own data?

@Nabha-Ahmed 🙌🏼🎉 well done!

@Gizo yes! You can use any data you want!

Hello! I’m experiencing an issue when attempting to publish my submission for the Raise the Bar – QuickViz Challenge.
I receive the message: “This board requires at least one label for each message,” but there is no visible label section anywhere in the form.
All required fields are filled, the .pbix file is attached, and the category is selected, yet the error persists.
Could someone clarify where the label selection should appear, or whether this might be a bug?
Thanks in advance for the assistance.
