We're now officially halfway done with the qualifying rounds of the Power BI DataViz World Championships 😲! It's hard to believe, but we've now got 2 winners with 2 to go. We want to recognize everyone that contributed and spent their personal time and energy competing. THANK YOU for making this community strong and vibrant!

The winning entry this week scored a 94%, and all entries in the top 10 scored 80% or above! Accessibility is a full third of the total score, so unfortunately, if entries did not have tab order set, were missing alt text, or had poor color contrast they weren't considered for a featured entry.

Judges favorites this week (in no particular order) are:

• A Journey into the world of data
  • Judges thought this report had a very clean layout an thoughtfully considered tabs and icons.
• Week 2 - Grounder The Pandemic's Toll on Travel & Jobs
  • This report was clean and well structured, and included creative elements. Judges especially like the interactive chart on tourism spending over time!
• Week 2 - A Voyage to Paris
  • This report featured many creative elements! The concept of using different colors for night and day and adding landmark images especially stood out to us.
• Week 2- Incredible India: A Guide to Must-Visit Destinations
  • Judges thought the design and color palette were beautiful!
• Week 2 - Traveler Trip Dashboard - AC
  • Judges thought this report was very clean and well structured, and featured some interesting design elements that we don't often see in Power BI!
• Week 2 | It's a summer holiday
  • The storytelling aspect of this report was so fun! Judges loved the whimsy.
• 🚴‍♂️ 2024 Annual Report – Bike Rentals for Travel 🚴‍♀️
  • Judges liked the design and creativity of this report.
