tharunkumarRTK thank you very much for writing this article! Clearly written and helps me understanding the inner workings of Incremental Refresh.

Instead of connecting with SSMS to remove the bootstrap filter from the query, I added a parameter to my report 'BootstrapInitialRefresh' and added a condition in the filter

= Table.SelectRows(Source, each [EndTimestamp] >= RangeStart and [EndTimestamp] < RangeEnd and BootstrapInitialRefresh = false)


This makes it possible to easily trigger a deployment, initiate the initial refresh, update the parameter and do a second refresh; all using the Power BI REST API (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/).
