This is very interesting. Thanks for putting this together! How do you dynamically update the look-up table? I'm trying to convert O(n2) lot balance tracking implementation (for each tx in a ledger from a specific lot compute the last lot balance) into O(n) using a look-up table that keeps track of (lot ID, last lot balance). Sounds like Record is the way to go, but in this example the lookup table is static. In real life they are often dynamically updated/built-up as algorith is doing a pass over the data set.
