How to Manage One Dataset / Semantic Model, Many Reports - The Master Dataset
Using single semantic model avoids data duplicacy and it's alwyas recommeded.

One problem is if we need make transformations like adding new column required for particualr report then we need to perform the same in Semantic model / report with import model as we have limited options with live connections.
