The countdown is on! We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Power BI Dataviz World Champs - your chance to showcase creativity, analytical skills, and storytelling power in one epic contest.

Want to learn more, live with us?! Join a live kick-off session (in English, Spanish or Portuguese) on January 15^th!

Here’s what to expect:

• Three Rounds of Action
  Each week brings a fresh challenge designed to stretch your visualization skills and spark innovative thinking. You’ll work with curated datasets and craft compelling insights that wow the community.
• Judges & Community Voting
  Each week, a panel of esteemed judges will review and score all entries to determine who advances to the finals in Atlanta. In addition, we’ll open up community voting so everyone can celebrate their favorite visuals and cheer on fellow creators. Community votes will highlight fan favorites, but they won’t influence which contestants move forward to the championship round.
• Wildcard Winner
  After all three rounds conclude, our judges will select one standout entry as the wildcard. This pick represents the visualization that truly belongs alongside the three round winners and will advance to the live finale at FabCon 2026.

• Round 2: Jan 19–26
• Round 3: Jan 26–Feb 2
• Community Voting: Jan 19–Feb 16
• Finalists Announced: Jan 26, Feb 2, Feb 9, Feb 16
• Wildcard Selection: Feb 16
• Live Finale: FabCon 2026, March 16

FAQ

Do I need to register? No registration required—just submit your entry before each round’s deadline.

Can I join after Round 1? Yes! Each round is independent.

What tools can I use? Power BI is the star, but supporting tools for data prep and storytelling are welcome.

How are winners chosen? Judges score entries to determine finalists. Community voting highlights fan favorites but doesn’t affect advancement.

What’s the wildcard? After three rounds, judges select one standout entry to join finalists at the live finale.
