Dataviz Contests - How to Submit

How to submit to the Contests Gallery:

1. You must be a member of the community to submit. Join the community by selecting register in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Sign in with your Microsoft account or create one.
   
   
   
   
2. Read through the contest post to understand what to expect. Be sure to read the requirements and judging criteria carefully.
   
   
3. Navigate to the Contests Gallery and select Submit to contest.
   
   
4. Fill in all required fields including:
   
   
   • Title: Give your entry a descriptive title
   • Power BI Publish to Web URL: include this if you have it, but it's not mandatory.
   • Description: Tell readers what your report is about.
   • Category: This is required! For the #PBI10 dataviz contest, please select either:
     • Power BI 10th Birthday Contest | Beginner (if you're new to Power BI), or  
     • Power BI 10th Birthday Contest | Advanced
   • Allowed attachments: upload your .pbix file here. Note that this is not required if you include a publish to web URL.
   • Thumbnail image: add an image. This will be the image displayed on the main gallery page
      

     

5. Select Publish.

• Note that entries go through a moderation process, so they may not instantly appear in the gallery. Please allow up to 24 hours for your entry to appear.

I just wanted to kindly point out that the process for "Category" submissions seems to have changed, but this post may not yet reflect the latest updates. It might be helpful to update it to avoid any potential confusion. Thank you so much!
