We’re excited to officially announce our fourth and final finalist in the Power BI Dataviz World Championships: Santhanalakshmi, recognized for her Week 1 entry.
From the very first week of the competition, Santhanalakshmi’s work stood out for its clarity, strong design fundamentals, and thoughtful storytelling. During the Week 1 judges’ deliberation, judges highlighted how effectively her entry communicated insight while staying grounded in the core Power BI experience.
The judges also noted the consistency and polish of her work, emphasizing how intentional every design choice felt. That balance of discipline, clarity, and execution is exactly what the Dataviz World Champs are meant to celebrate - and why Santhanalakshmi earned her place as a finalist. Congratulations Santhanalakshmi - we can't wait to see you in Atlanta!
With Santhanalakshmi joining the lineup, our four World Championship finalists are now complete:
Each of these creators represents a different style, approach, and interpretation of what’s possible with Power BI — and together, they make this one of the strongest finalist lineups we’ve ever had.
Across the competition, the judges selected 14 entries as Judges’ Favorites - a distinction reserved for work that stood out for creativity, clarity, innovation, or execution, even when it didn’t ultimately win the week.

These selections reflect the depth of talent in this competition. Choosing favorites was anything but easy, and many of these entries sparked long, thoughtful discussion during deliberations.
We also want to take a moment to recognize everyone who participated in multiple weeks. Submitting even one competition‑level entry is a huge amount of work. Showing up week after week — iterating, refining, and pushing creative boundaries — is something truly special.
The quality of what these creators produced across multiple weeks was, quite simply, incredible. Your commitment, resilience, and creativity are a massive part of what made this year’s Dataviz World Champs so special.
Finally, we want to give special recognition to two creators who stood out repeatedly throughout the competition:
Both Injae and Marius were selected as Judges’ Favorites twice, an achievement that speaks volumes about their consistency, versatility, and design excellence across different datasets and challenges. Delivering that level of quality more than once - in a competition of this caliber - is no small feat. We learned so much from your entries and are so lucky to have you as a part of our community!
🙏🏼 Thank you judges!
On behalf of the entire community, I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to our dataviz expert judges, Chris Hamill and Diana Ackermann, for your time, energy, and deep discussions. Over the past month you've spent countless hours reviewing, scoring, and appreciating everyone's entries. We could not do these competitions without you!
With all four finalists now announced, we’re officially heading into the World Championship finale. The stage is set, the bar is high, and we cannot wait to see what these incredible creators deliver next.
We also have one final piece of recognition coming later this week - our FAN FAVORITES! Stay tune for that announcement!
To everyone who participated, supported, commented, shared, and inspired others along the way - thank you. This community continues to raise the standard for what data visualization can be.
