dbt activity in fabric data factory

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the the dbt activit running in the fabric data factory.

unfortunatly i cannot find any documentation whatsoever.

After configuring i get the error: "Invaild payload. Error message Cannot resolve Data Factory runtime 'WorkspaceIR'."

is there a configuration i'm missing?

I'm also facing the same issue, clarity would be understood , I also would like to know if we can host dbt in fabric without dbt cloud

We have a response from internal team -

" The Data Factory team is actively exploring mechanisms to enrich their orchestration capabilities. While customers have been orchestrating dbt cloud using web activity, we are exploring ways to simplify the user journey with an activity. We do not have any release dates for this feature yet. "

I don't understand your answer: The activity is availiable in fabric data factory. 

So you are telling me it is live but not usable?

The functionality is planned for the future and is not fully functional currently

The dbt activity is a available in the UI now. If it's not functional, why do we see it?

Sounds like it slipped out and shouldn't have been released publicly yet.
