Unable to create or save pipelines in Microsoft Fabric (400 InternalError)

Hi,

We are currently unable to create or save pipelines in Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.

Whenever we try to create a new pipeline or edit an existing one and click Save, the operation fails with a 400 (Bad Request) error and an InternalError:

This happens during the authoring/save step, not during execution, and effectively blocks us from creating pipelines.

Hi Ganesh,

Thank you for your quick response. I've checked the fabric service health in Azure Portal and there is no ongoing incident. Do you have any other suggestions to what we could do as next step?

If there are no incidents listed and the issue continues, please consider submitting a Microsoft support ticket for further assistance. Be sure to include all the troubleshooting steps you've already taken to help them understand the situation.

Thank you for posting your query in the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.

This error occurs when a backend service issue on the Fabric side, especially when:

• The error occurs before execution
• It affects both new and existing pipelines
• The failure happens immediately on Save/Create
• The error payload only returns InternalError without validation details

Check the Microsoft fabric service health to confirm whether there is an ongoing incident affecting Data Factory authoring.
