Trouble managing mapping: cannot edit Type

I have set up a copy activity that has REST API as source and Lakehouse table as Destination. However when doing the Mapping many fields return Type null because it is empty in the first row. Besides...

    Thanks for reporting this. It is not supported yet. We are actively working on it, will take 1-2 months to support this.  Anonymous

Why is this marked as "solved"? A solution should enable the execution of the original intent, even if it involves a workaround. "Not supported yet" does not qualify as a solution. It is understandable that with a system of this size, not everything has been implemented yet. However, marking it as "solved" can be misleading and may result in a waste of time.
