Is there an ETA on event based trigger for pipeline (specially integration with sharepoint)?

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to trigger a pipeline when a file at a sharepoint point location is modifed/created without using REST API and power shell?

I have been using power automate to do this but would like to remove this dependency.
If this trigger is not yet present in fabric pipeline....is there an ETA when it will be ?

Hi from 2026!

Still looking for this feature. It seems weird that Microsofr can't create a trigger like the ones already developed inside Power Automate to run a pipeline when a Sharepoint File is created/modified/deleted. Looking forward to see this if this feature is the Fabric Roadmap.

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

As of today, Fabric data pipelines only support scheduled triggers. But the plan to add other triggers in Fabric is on roadmap. There is currently no official ETA on event-based triggers for Microsoft Fabric pipelines, including integration with SharePoint.
