Get Pipeline Run Status

Hi everyone,

 

I have a pipeline that imports data from on prem sources using the copy data activity.

I log the source as running in order to prevent it from being picked up again in the next run (parallel pipeline executions) however if the pipeline is cancelled it wont recover from this - if it fails I can log the failure and retry but I can't log a cancelled run.

 

How would I be able to log when a run is cancelled or how can I get a list of past runs and the status of those runs?

 

I see that you can use the fabric APIs to get the status of a run, if you know what the pipeline run id was:

https://api.fabric.microsoft.com/v1/workspaces/{workspaceid}/items/{pipelineid}/jobs/instances/{pipelinerunid}
How can I get a list of historical pipeline runs and their statuses?

    Hi  Matthew_G ,

     

    You can use below rest api to get query activity runs record.

    POST https://api.fabric.microsoft.com/v1/workspaces/<your WS Id>/datapipelines/pipelineruns/<job id>/queryactivityruns

      Hi!

       

      while I was trying this rest api , I am getting response 200 but it is returning empty list as output any idea why am I getting this!?
