Cannot copy from on prem to Fabric SQL Database
I created the connection, it tests correctly, I can see the database in the destination and select the table. But when I run it I get an error (server and database xxxx'd out by me).

I can see the database in the destination and select the tableFrom all Gateway VMs ?

I don't understand the question. It is not a VM, I used a cloud connection to connect to Fabric Database as my destination (source is on prem SQL Server db).

Your on-prem SQL Server db mandates the use of an On-Prem Enterprise gateway.
