Hi all,
I’m facing a sign-in issue with the "Office Outlook 365" activity when trying to edit the email format in this activity.
No pop-up appears to select the account for sign-in
and the status remains stuck on Pending...
Although I successfully saved this pipeline and configured the email format about 2 weeks ago, today when I tried to review and reconfigure this activity, the account I previously used to sign in was logged out, requiring me to sign in again. However, the sign-in pop-up does not appear.
When I test with a different Fabric tenant account and workspace, the sign-in pop-up works normally.
I have also checked the workspace capacity, and there doesn’t seem to be any abnormality.
Could you please help me investigate this issue?
Thanks,
Lukas

Thank you for your help
I do all things: clear cache, allow pop-up, use other browser, use private mode,....
But now, the bug fixed itself for no reason and pop-up appeared 😄 . But I still need re-sign-in whenever I need to edit this activity.
Thank you
I have similar issue where the sign-in pop up does not display when I add a new activity to an existing pipeline. The pop up shows when I edit an existing Outlook activity however. I found if I edit the Jason code for the Outlook activity (e.g. edit the activity name) and then click on the sign-in button I get the pop-up. I have restarted, cleared cache, signed out and the error persists.
I have had simialr experiences, using firefox, I often need to click it twice, sometimes I have to refresh the browser completely, which is annoying
Hello @Lukas_Ng
I just tested it at home and it works (Google Chrome).
Can you try it with another browser?
Also, press CTRL+F5 to clear your browser cache.
Have a nice day,
Vivien
I have tried many browsers: from brave to firefox and edge. also clear my browser cache. But the issue is still there. I think the problem is the account that I used.
There is an automatically created JSON config in this account for Outlook activity.
But when testing Outlook 365 activity with other account/ tenant is not the same like this.
That's strange... Especially if the problem only occurs for one Workspace...
If it helps, here is the JSON code I have for the Outlook task
Thank you for your help.
I’ll keep investigating this issue and update you once it’s solved
Hi @Lukas_Ng ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
As you are not getting the Pop up to select email to sign for the outlook activity.
Please check your browsers pop up settings, and check if that is the cause of the error you are facing.
Click on the epsilon of your site and then on settings.
Go to Privacy, search and services
Check in all permissions and all sites for pop ups and configure the settings to allow pop ups.
Check if you are able to sign in to the outlook activity now.
I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
Thank you

I think that is just the way it works, you just have to sign back in everytime, I have the same
Hi @Lukas_Ng
Its great to know that your error is fixed. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Thank you.
That's the same for me, every time I change the activity I have to sign in again.
In any case, it's good that you're no longer experiencing the problem.
Feel free to give a little kudo for the help if you want and mark your post as solved 🙂
Have a nice day.
Vivien
