manual refresh in Power BI Mobile App

Hello Power BI community 🙂

I have just downloaded the Power BI Mobile app for windows 10 on my computer. 

I have a report that is set for an automated refresh. In Power BI Service, I can also manually refresh the dataset for the report. I can, however, not find an option to refresh the data manually in the Power BI Mobile app on my computer. I can press an 'update' button in the app, but nothing seems to happen. 

How do I refresh the data manually in the Power BI Mobile App?

Hey @Anonymous ,

You cannot refresh the data source from the app.

This is avaiable only in the Service.

The app is more for data consumption rather than manage your data.

When you hit update in Power BI app, it just goes to the service to get new data if exists, but does not trigger the data source refresh.
