iPad back arrow takes users back multiple levels

On the iPad app, the back button is returning users all the way back to the landing page instead of going one view backwards. This is especially problematic in focus mode because there isn't another ...

Hey Nicklealias ,

 

This should not be the behavior. The back button supposes to take you one view backward, so if you where viewing "visual in focus" you should get back to the page view.

Can you please share a video with the experience you see?

    Unfortunately due to the confidential nature of the report, I can't post a video. But the click progression is as follows:

    -Within a published app, we start from a workspace 'dashboard' splash page.

     

    -Users click on a dashboard button using a custom link, directing users to a published report within the workspace

    -This report has about 90-100 report tabs, although some are just different views of similar data. The end user only sees this list of 9 reports and navigates primarily based on those (as you see on the left part of the screenshot), and buttons within the reports themselves (these are along the top). After navigating and then selecting the back arrow, a user gets returned to the main 'dashboard' page. Clicking within focus mode on a visualization, and then hitting the back button returns the same behavior.
