User!Language in paginated reports doesn't work in Mobile Apps

Dear all,

For some reason, User!Language doesn't detect the correct language of the report in the Mobiel Apps. What I did was change my phone language to French and region to Canada. With PBI reports on mobile, the USERCULTURE() did return "fr-CA" and but the User!Language for paginated reports still returned "en-US".

I tried the desktop browser and it worked fine when I changed the browser locale settings for both types of reports.

Any advices on this, I need to set up auto-localization for these reports.

Hi @Duc1993 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

The issue with the "User!Language" function in Power BI Mobile Apps not reflecting the correct language settings, even though "USERCULTURE()" works as expected, this discrepancy happens because "User!Language" in Paginated Reports relies on the report viewer’s environment settings and may not dynamically inherit the phone's culture/locale settings within mobile apps.

To Solve the issue, go through following step :

Confirm Regional Settings in Power BI Mobile App
   • Go to the Power BI Mobile App Settings and confirm that:
   • The language settings (under General) match your phone’s language (fr-CA).
   • Some mobile apps rely on a separate configuration for localization within the app itself, so it's worth
          double-checking.
