Just recently, I have noticed that Slicers in the Windows 10 and Mobile apps do not begin filtering selections as the user types in a search. For example, In a List Slicer for US Cities, if I were to type in "San Fran", nothing happens until I manually attempt to scroll through results. Previously, all results would filter live as the user types. This does not happen on the web. Any clue what may be causing this?
Hi all,
First we would like to thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We are working hard on resolving this issue and hope to resolve it soon.
In the meantime, we would like to offer a workaround. When searching slicers, the search does work, however, the screen is not updated accordingly.
To see the filtered value set – simply scroll the slicer or enter the slicer’s focus mode as @maja742 in the original post.
The data will refresh and work in the slicer.
Thank you,
Hi @maja742,
I test on last uwp/android version but I can't reproduce this issue. Can you provide some detail contents?
BTW, you can also connect to wifi and test again if the issue is due to network delay.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
