Power Bi App not launching Iphone 13

Hi there,
I have a client with an iPhone 13.
Power Bi app version 26.6 installed.

The app used to worked but all of a sudden the stopped working, upon hitting the Power Bi icon on the home screen it keeps getting stuck at the following screen:

Tried the following:
1. Removing and re installing the Power Bi App

2. Hard restart.

Still no luck.

Any one that experienced the same behaviour with a possible solution?

Kind regards

I’m Erez, the engineering team manager of the Power BI for iOS product. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

The problem probably originates in the mechanism that’s used to share the account emails between Microsoft apps and get the app stuck on your device.

We are working towards moving to another mechanism and this should be included in a September (next month) release.

In the meantime, can you please attempt the following:

  • Install the OneDrive app from the App Store (if you don’t already have it)
    • You don’t have to open it or sign in.
  • Go to the device settings app and enter OneDrive settings
  • Turn on “Clear Account Settings”
  • Open the OneDrive app
  • Attempt to open the Power BI app again.

Notice that this process could sign you out of several Microsoft apps but hopefully will unblock you.
