Power BI app on a phone with Android system does not have a camera function

When we try the barcode scan function with in the Power BI app on the mobile phone, we found that there is a camera function on Apple devices, but not on Android phones.

App version of Apple devices is '30.9', and the version of Android devices is '2.2.240411.21161025'.

I want to know how to use barcode scan function on the Android devices.

Can you please share some information about your device? For example: OS version and device brand, any modification that applied on your system? Perhaps you can test on the other android device to confirm this.

In addition, have you correctly setting the barcode field on your report and enabled the camera permission to the power bi mobile app?

Hi:

OS version: HarmonyOS 4.0.0

Device brand: HUAWEI

I think the barcoe setting in report is correct, the function can be used on the Apple phone.

I have one more test, use the VIVO phone which also use android system, the barcode scan function can work normally. And there is Google play servies on VIVO phone.

But Google play servies app can't be found in the app store. Is there any web for us to download the installation package then we can install manaully?

Hey @GaoWenjia_86 ,

Can you please check if your device has Google Play Services? Chaineas devices are some times missing these services, and therfore all camera features are missing as result.

There's no Google Play Services on my phone, ang cna't find the service in the app store.
