Page Navigation Buttons via PowerBI App - Bug?!

Hello PBI community, is anyone else experiencing issues with the "Page Navigation" buttons when consuming dashboards via the PowerBI App?

My end user has a dashboard set up on a surface pro, the buttons work when clicked with a mouse but do not work when "touched". I've tested using the app on my laptop and experience the same issue, did I miss a step in the set up?

Hi all, I am facing an issue with the buttons. The buttons are used for page navigation, this works fine in the desktop but after publishing, the position of buttons are not in line with the page to be navigated (Example, on clicking the page navigation 2, it moves to page 1). The issue is because the position of buttons are changed in the workspace. Any suggestions on resolving this?
Thanks in advance

Hey @Anonymous ,

Do you expereince this on Power BI service after piblishing the WS as App as well or just in Power BI Mobile app?

Thanks, Maya

Has this issue been resolved? I’m facing the same problem after embedding the published dashboard in Power Apps—the navigation buttons are not working. Please suggest a solution, as this is critical for my project completion.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Does your report have a mobile layout? You can learn about it from this link.

After my test, with a mobile layout report, you can use the page navigation button on mobile devices.

The attachment is my test sample.

Stephen Tao

Hey @Anonymous ,

I'm unable to reproduce the issue you are describing.

Can you please be more specific:

1) The app version you are using

2) Is the app connected to Power BI online service or Power BI Report server?

3) Send you share the steps you are preforming for reproducing the problem?

Thanks, Maya

Hi there,

Just tested and out end user is still experiencing the issue.

The issue occurs only in the power bi app (on surface or laptop, not on mobile)

The buttons functionality works fine when accessing the powerbi service via a web browser. The error only occurs when using the app.

Many thanks,

Adam
