Images (that I add to the report) do not load properly in the mobile app

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm currently developing a mobile app version of my Power BI dashboard and have included a dedicated "How to Use" page that features multiple screenshots showcasing different functionalities.

However, I'm running into a few issues on mobile:

  • Some images (added directly to the report, not via URL) occasionally fail to load.
  • Custom icons used for menu navigation are not displaying at all.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Is there a recommended way to fix or manage this behavior in mobile view?

Also, are there any specific configuration settings I should be aware of when optimizing reports for mobile?

Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏

Thanks @Williamsbb ,

We were unable to reproduce the scenario you described.
Could you please send your pbix file to mpbisup@microsoft.com, along with a brief description of the issue?
Additionally, please include the following details:

  • What visuals are being used in the report?
  • Are the images visible when viewing the report in the Power BI service/Android app?

    Thanks,
    Michal

Hi @Williamsbb ,

Just checking back did you get a chance to send your PBIX file and details over to michalfoster through shared email. That info should really help them reproduce the issue and provide a more targeted fix.

Thanks,
Akhil.

Hi @Williamsbb ,

The @michalfoster  mentioned they weren’t able to reproduce the issue and asked if you could share your PBIX file with them at (mpbisup@microsoft.com) along with.

  • A short description of the problem.
  • Details on which visuals are being used in your report.
  • Whether the images are visible when viewing the report in the Power BI Service or on the Android app.

Did you get a chance to send them the file yet? That might help them narrow down what’s happening in your case.

Regards,
Akhil.
