Filtered data source based on logged in user

Hi community.

I have built a power bi app that i want to share with a wider team of 66 people.

In the data source each member of this team has their name/user assigned to their rows of data.

To save making 66 versions of the app, i want it that when the user logs in, it filters the data source to show just their data.

Is this possible ?

Hi @Caldowd98 ,

Power Mobile app could let you view reports/dashboards on mobile device. Actually you issue is related to Power Bi app which is published in Power BI service.

According to your description, you want to dynamically restrict data access for people based on their username, right?

If so, you could use RLS which ensures that for each recipient of the report a difference can be made in what data they can see.

Please follow the following steps:

1.In Power BI Desktop, go to  Modeling tab, select Manage Roles-->use USERNAME() or USERPRINCIPLENAE() to create a role.

2.In the Power BI service, select the More options menu for a dataset, select Security--> Add members
