I have a dashboard with the ESRI ArcGIS Map. This dashboard was uploaded to the Power BI server. The map visual works fine in the desktop when used the browser to connect the server interface. On the other hand, I am using iPad and Power BI mobile applicaiotn to connect the server I built. When we open the dashboard in the server, all visual works fine except the ESRI ArcGIS Map. There is an error message that“To see this custom visual, add it to this report first: esriVisual”. I have already ensured the license and permissions are good and all software and OS are up to date.

Hi @v-shex-msft,
Thank you for replys. What details do you need? May you specify to see if I can provide it possiblely because of company policy?
Below is the error shown on the iPad. I used Power BI mobile app to connect our server to access the dashboard. All visuals were fine execept the Esri ArcGIS Map visual. It showed “To see this custom visual, add it to this report first: esriVisual". The map visual is fine when we access from web browser to connect to server in desktop. As I said, I have already ensured the license and permissions are good and all software and OS are up to date.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Gary
Ensure Compatibility: Confirm that the ESRI ArcGIS Map visual is compatible with the Power BI mobile app on iPad. Some custom visuals may have limitations or compatibility issues with mobile devices, so it's important to verify compatibility with the specific device and app version you're using.
Check Visual Availability: Make sure that the ESRI ArcGIS Map visual is added to the report in Power BI Desktop before publishing it to the Power BI service. The error message "To see this custom visual, add it to this report first: esriVisual" suggests that the visual may not be included in the report layout.
Update Power BI Desktop: Ensure that you're using the latest version of Power BI Desktop to author and publish your reports. Newer versions of Power BI Desktop may include updates and enhancements that improve compatibility with custom visuals and mobile devices.
Review Licensing and Permissions: Double-check the licensing and permissions for the ESRI ArcGIS Map visual in your Power BI environment. Ensure that all users who need to view the visual have the appropriate licenses and permissions assigned.
Consider Alternative Visuals: If the ESRI ArcGIS Map visual continues to encounter issues on iPad, consider using alternative map visualizations that are known to be compatible with the Power BI mobile app. Power BI offers several built-in map visualizations that may provide similar functionality.
Contact Support: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft support or ESRI support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance or troubleshoot the issue more effectively.
