We use a Power BI reportserver. Users don't have access to the Home folder. Based on their needs they get a link to a sub folder like partners, managers. In the browser they connect to <server>/pbireports/browse/partners. I want the power BI mobile app to connect to the sub folder as well but the I get an error stating the user name or password is wrong.
Is this a known problem?

Hey @sigurdfelix,
Users must have access to home folder to be able to connect from the app to Report server.
This is how the app currently works.

Maya

Thank you Maya,
So my only option is to grant rights on the home folder and use the sub folder rights for security. That way every user can see every folder on the top level.
If that’s the only possibility we have to set that up.
thank you.
