Hi @jj_spain,

Which Power BI desktop version do you run? Which data source do you get data from? Would you please share desktop trace log?

Please try to update the Power BI desktop to the latest version then test again.

By the way, please post a issue in English next time so we can understand the issue better.

Best Regards,

HI,

Thanks for your answer.

The version of powerbi desktop is the latest. April 2018. 32 bit

The data source is .xls files.

In the data model I have created a new table from an all.select of one of the data sources and I am creating multiple columns in that table. When creating multiple columns gives the error explained.

SimpleDocumentEvaluator/GetResult/Compile {"Start":"2018-04-25T10:59:07.7997369Z","Action":"SimpleDocumentEvaluator/GetResult/Compile","HostProcessId":"4684","ProductVersion":"2.57.5068.501 (PBIDesktop)","ActivityId":"500e4595-3f32-43b1-9a67-4c0bc4fc4aff","Process":"Microsoft.Mashup.Container.NetFX40","Pid":5944,"Tid":1,"Duration":"00:00:00.3301974"}

Hi @jj_spain,

I'm not very clear about this:

In the data model I have created a new table from an all.select of one of the data sources and I am creating multiple columns in that table. When creating multiple columns gives the error explained.

Do you mean you create multiple columns in the report then the error occurs? Would you please share .xls file and detail steps for us to reproduce the issue?

From the information above, it seems you are running desktop version 2.57.5068.501. The latest one is 2.57.5068.721. Please update to this version if possible.

Best Regards,
