"Analyze in Excel" for external users

According to Distribute content to external guest users with Microsoft Entra B2B - Power BI | Microsoft Learn, 

• Guest users can't use Analyze in Excel
• Guest users can't use Power BI desktop to connect to service semantic models or dataflows in the Power BI service

It would be great if these features were enabled.

As of now, guest users are not supported to use these features. You can keep an eye on this document for any updates to the restrictions.

Of course,you can vote the idea and comment there to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
