Hi @kishoree

I tried to restore the scenario you mentioned but failed . I use the 'Copy Image with Caption' option in PowerBI service, then paste the visual in PPT ,  the final result displayed is the same as before copying. Can you describe your procedure in detail. Does the same situation exist for other visual except the one you mentioned?

Hi @Fenalytics,

We don’t see any statement or known issue said that it’s a bug. If this issue is urgent for you, you could consider submitting a support ticket in Power BI Support if you are a Pro user. Then, there will be a support engineer to help you troubleshoot on this issue.

Hi  @TSami ,

I don't really understand the description of the problem, are you able to provide some detailed screenshots to show the problem?
Also how long has this problem been occurring? Were your colleagues able to reproduce the problem?
What is the version information of your Power BI Service?

Hi  @PacificNt ,

If the latest version is causing issues, you could try downloading and installing a previous version of Power BI Desktop.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive

If possible, try to use another machine to see if Power BI works well there.
If reinstalling didn’t work, it might be because some files were left behind during the uninstallation process. You could try a complete uninstallation, which involves:
Uninstalling using Control Panel
Deleting remaining files and folders of the program
Removing software keys from Windows Registry
Emptying the Temp folder

Hi  @nleuck_101 ,

You can try the following steps to add formatting options:

1.Select the Format page.
2.In Visual Studio Code, open the capabilities.json file.
3.Before the dataViewMappings array, add objects (after line 8). "objects": {}
4.Save the capabilities.json file.
5.In Power BI, review the formatting options again.
If the issue persists, you can try updating Power BI desktop to the latest version1. If you’re using a grouped item, you might encounter this issue inconsistently. A workaround is to ungroup the visualization, make formatting changes, then re-group it with the other visualizations.

Hi @Ynr0225 ,

Based on the information you have provided, the problem you are experiencing may be related to the fact that you are using an old version. october 2023 is not the latest version. The latest version is 2.124.2028.0 released on 2024/1/31.
You can download it via the official link below, I hope this is helpful!

Hi @gp10 ,

We've found feedback from other users who have had similar experiences to yours. Here are some suggestions from the PG team Please see if this mitigates your problem.

"Customer appears to be using Feb 2023 version of the gateway. Can you please ask the customer to upgrade gateway to the latest version and re-capture gateway logs? There were some changes in the token refresh implementation in Jan 2023, upgrading will assure we have the latest version being used. Also ensure only one version of the gateway is installed.

Customer should also consider removing all existing credentials to the dataflow and recreating them. Sometimes that can fix authentication problems in PBI service."

Best regards.

Hi @vivien57 ,

Please make sure you’re using the latest version of the app. If not, consider updating it.
You may also check the capacity settings and ensure that “Power BI Premium” is added as a data reader on your capacity.

If you run the app and it’s not displaying any data, try refreshing the app. This behavior sometimes happens when you open the app for the first time.
