This has just started happening in the Power BI Service. I'm using the new list slicer and have specified dimensions in Power BI Desktop for each button to be a certain height. This is completely ignored in the Service with some buttons tiny and unreadable and others huge and taking up most of the screen. Please advise when a fix will be deployed.

Crucial reports all over the continent are bugging out. In Table view, right-clicking the table in the central area and choosing Copy or Copy Table doesn't do anything. Nothing is copied.

Power BI is experiencing a problem with WebView2 running Out of memory. We have identified some of the top causes of this and have the details below. If that does not address your Out of memory problem, contact us at pbidesktopwebview2issues@service.microsoft.com Out of Memory cause: Custom visuals causing memory leak - If you are using any custom visuals and are running into Out of Memory crahses, please try removing the custom visuals to check if it resolves the issue. If it does, please reach out with the visual which was cauing the memory leak so we can address it. If you are not using any custom visuals and are still running into this, it could be due to having a lot of report pages and visuals per page. This causes the browser heap memory to exceed the 4GB limit and crash. This is sadly a limitation of chromium. Possible workaround Limit the number of visuals in the report. The recommendation is to split the report into smaller reports and using cross-drillthrough - Use cross-report drillthrough in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs.The cross-drillthrough feature carries through filters when using cross drill through.

All the relationship lines are missing from the model view. All graphical manipulation of the model fails. Adding new tables/datasources fail. A new version needs to be released immediately. It appears that version 2.119.666.0 doesn't have that problem. These versions are so new that they're not even documented on the Microsoft site. 😞

I'm struggling to be able to work efficiently with Dataflows as I am experiencing excessive times to 'validate' queries after pressing the 'Save & Close' button. For entities with even a minimal amount of transformation (eg. simply changing some column data types) I've experienced wait times of over 3 hours to simply save the query to exit out back to the main entity menu/view. Should things be taking this long for an output schema validation process, regardless of the size of the underlying table data? Is this an issue being experienced by others as well? This is making it simply impossible for me to work with the Dataflows product in this way.

Hello, Since changing my apps to the new app experience that came out on August 24th, 2022 I'm unable to update my apps. Just updating the data in existing reports work, however when I try to add a new report or user to the app, the updated fails on both premium and non-premium workspaces. Hi there, I have a noticed a recent issue where people are trying to use the export via the Summarized Data and the File Format .csv It says it has a limit of 30,000 rows but on any export it only retrieves the first 300? Can this be investigated please?

Hello, for the past few days we have noticed on the Home Page of Power BI that the App's icons in the “Recommended” section are stretched and do not respect the proportion ratio (see screenshot below). On the other hand, the App image is correctly displayed in the App list page (see screenshot below). Can you help me understand what the problem is? Regards -- Gianluca Pinelli

Hi, As of Wed 09/12/22 our customers are experiencing an issue when using File --> Print this page, the page preview is just a blank page with a header and footer. Some customers print many pages per day and are irritated with having to workaround by exporting to pdf first. I can see other users in the community having the same issue that have posted yesterday. In Power BI Desktop I am running into an issue where I cannot format visualizations that are part of a group. When selecting the visualization in the group and navigating to the Format visual tab, no options are available and it says "Formatting options are unavailable for this visual". The only workaround is to ungroup the visualization, make formating changes, then re-group it with the other visualizations. This has been happening for the past week or two. Sometimes it will let me format visualizations in a group, but most of the time it shows the message below.

Hello Support, I am hoping someone can help me solve a recent issue with my scorecards. Starting 3/7/23 my scorecard goals are not staying updated with the linked reports. I have multiple Metrics linked directly to reports. The scorecards are no longer auatomatically updating. I have to manually update them by refreshing the connection to the report. Even though the report is automatically refreshing I have both the report and scorecard data sets set to automatically updated multiple times a day. And despite those occuring without errors the data in the scorecard is not updating. This is causing issues with our performance KPIs. I have not changed anything in either report to cause the changes. I have even added new goals that are also not updating.

After today's update we can no longer see Snowflake views when trying to add a datasource in PBI desktop. Please fix ASAP! We have not activated the preview connector yet.

It would be great if Power BI desktop remembered the width that the panes (eg. Data, Visualizations, Filters, Bookmarks) are set to in the previous session. Or a way to set which panes are open by default, and their width, when opening the application. I ask this because I use an ultra wide monitor, so I have plenty of space for more panes to be open, and to have them nice and wide, yet every time I open a report, the panes are back to being narrow 😞

HI As per this community discussion, a change to the borders around titles in some visualisations has caused multiple problems across the Service and Mobile versions. This does not occur on Power BI desktop.

In the old visual, when the text of the label becomes too long, it cuts it off. Which is fine. The new one though... Plenty of space left, but doesn't show the first x-amount of characters that could be showed. Here, I made it show... Do notice that if the title has spaces or dashes (-), it does show partially words, but only if the whole word fits. Underscores are not recognized as such. Whole datalakes are held together by fields using the underscore as space. Regardless of underscores becoming included as something that can be shown in parts, why not keep it as it was so if you mess up your format, or someone else messes up, it still shows the first amount of characters?

Hello Team, This has been observed that semantic models shared between different directories under the same tenant appears under All Tab and not under External Tab. In Power BI desktop, when we switch directory and Get Data-->Semantic model, it shows all the semantic models under All Tab including those of different directory. We request for a feature where semantic models shared across different directories appear under External tab. Further there is no specific features about sharing of semantic models across different directories mentioned in our documentation which would be very helpful.
