I have a measure in my data model which shows the Average Score that respondents gave to questions in a survey. The response values can range from 1 (not satisfied) to 7 (very satisfied). I am displaying this measure on a stacked column chart, with another dimension (department name) on the X axis.   By default, Power BI will show the Y Axis as starting at 0. If I set the Y Axis Start value to 1, then in some cases, the Y axis will update, and show that the minimum value is 1, though the actual value of 1 is not always shown.   If I set the End value to 7, then the Y Axis will update again, but this time it shows a starting value of 0, even though the value in the Start box clearly shows 1. The behaviour is just really inconsistent. The screenshot below shows 6 column charts showing the average response for each department, across 6 thematic areas. All 6 charts have the Y-axis start value set to 1 with the end value set to Auto. In only 2 instances do the charts actually start from 1, and even in those examples, the 1 isn't shown on the axis!     Example   For the two charts that do start from 1, if I alter the Y-axis end value to 7, the axis immediately reverts to showing 0 and 5 as in the other 4 charts.   Could we have more control over the axis start/end values, and the intervals as well please?   Note: The same behaviour was observed in the stacked bar chart, clustered bar chart and clustered column chart visuals.   ... Hello,    this is the second time im posting about this and i still cant get an answer to help solve the problem.   I connect power bi to MYSQL databases everything was working fine untill a few weeks ago and now everytime i try to connect to a MYSQL database or update data i get an error that states that i have a "BAD IL RANGE".   I have   Reinstalled power bi reinstalled .net connector reinstalled the ODBC connector   and i am still getting the same error. Can anyone please point me in the correct direction to get this issue solved as power bi is UNUSABLE to me because all of my data is stored in MYSQL databases. This seems to be an issue inside power bi because i can still connect to these sources in Visual Studio and various other SQL workbench type softwares. I really enjoy the microsoft program and do not want to switch to a different provider but i dont know what else to do at this point. ... View more

We are using Direct Query to a SQL database in the same region (North Europe) as the PowerBI workspaces. All SQL query are taking sub 25ms but the reports are still loading slowly at different times during the day. I update on prem data through the gateway and see this morning that only half of my dashboards are refreshing.   I am tried to re-publish one, and got the message, "Sorry, you don't have access to publish to this workspace..."   This particular dashboard is in a shared workspace, however when I move over to my own workspace, I also see about 50% of the dashboards still scheduled to run on 1/17/2017 (in the past).   Thanks,   ... Since yesterday, I encounter several probems with Power BI.   I am working on a report with Google Analytics data (the online connector does'nt provide enough data). When I try to publish, I got this message, "An error occured when trying to publish [report]"     The day before, I successfully published a twin report (data from another website, but same data, formulas and all), and today, I can't schedule its refresh. It's loading forever until this error message.       I downloaded the latest version, but nothing changed, I'm still stuck.   I noticed that sometimes, with very few data, it can be published (not scheduled to be refreshed, but published). Hi everyone,   When updating dataset in Power BI Service it does not recognize the credentials of the source (it's a Web source), after introducing again the credentials error persists. The credentials are correct and are working fine in Power BI Desktop. I manually refresh the data every week using my personal gateway. For some reports, the "refresh now" isn't doing anything. When I open the refresh history, it only displays the last week's refresh date time but not the current. I am not even getting any error messages. Alternatively I refreshed the dashboard using Power BI desktop and tried to publish the file. Now the dashboard is publishing for the past 20 mins and still not completed which usually takes less than a minute. ... View more

"Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again."   When updating the crendentials, we get the spinning dots forever. It never resolves. Excel sheets stored in OneDrive for business still work, but Sharepoint and CRM do not. ... View more
