Hi I have this error coming up. I have just added an additional column on to the spreadsheet source. It works on desktop but when refreshing or schedule refresh, it fails giving this error. I have tried re-entering the credentials etc but it just keeps failing. How do I re-install the personal gateway/.

I have a Mac user that cannot see her list of dashboards down the left side of her screen. The lines where you normally can expand are not there to click and the controls like settings, share, etc. are all on the left instead of the right. Below is a snip of the top right of her screen. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I am having trouble logging into my account both on the desktop and web. I've been able to log into PowerBI for months using the account I created associated to my work email. Now, when I go to login, the system goes into this endless redirecting loop. What I see on the screen is: A blue circular icon that looks like a badge, with my username next to it. Below that, the word "Redirecting" Below that, the words "We're taking you to your organization's sign in page" The problem is that it never advances to the next page. It just keeps redirecting and refreshing in an endless loop.

Hi! I notice that Favorites are deleted when updating the content pack in a workspace. The following were my steps: 1 - I made changes in Development workspace. 2 - Upgrade content pack shared with Production. 3 - From Production workspace, made a Get Data to import again the recently upgraded content pack. 4 - Everything is updated properly. 5 - But the Favorites are deleted. In a scenario where the panels, reports, or data model is updated frecuently, is really annoying to have to set Favorites everytime the content pack is updated.

Two bug in the way numerical are handled. 1) When creating a table I can enter '1,0'. It's being cast to '10' (and the user is not even notified unless he opens the table again). Is this caused by localization issues or an missing internal escape of commas? (csv/json) 2) If you create a slicer and filter on value '0.5' the record is missing in the sliced table. It only happens when decimals are present. Is it internally being cast to INT? The data type is 'Decimal Number, Format: General'. Are you comparing FLOATs or FIXED precesions internally? Float representation/comparision can cause issues. You can represent it like this: -

Hi, We have a Windows Server 2012R2 box up in azure running MS SQL server - I have managed to install the enterprise gateway fine and can access the SQL DB fine with PowerBI Desktop, but when I am trying to add a new data source within office 365 I get the following error: I have set up data sources from servers in our own DC fine, just never when MS SQL is on a server up in azure, any suggestions?

When adding a streming data set, im able to set the last # recods as sec, min or hour. But when i choose anything in the sec, min or hour dropbox no data is in the chart, data only exist in the chart i I leave it blank, and choose from 1-45 minutes in the first dropdown box. If I choose anything fx. hours and save and close, when opening the page again the settings are gone. The behaviour is so the it alwas is set to minutes.

The Marketo connector does not connect to reference data table in Marketo. For instance, I want to filter my activities as the full table will max out my API calls. this is impossible unless I know what the ActivityID column means. Having access to an activity reference table would be helpful. I know this is availabe as part of the Marketo API as other tools have been able to retrieve this data.

I have the same mapping problem with Bing map visualization in Power BI. It was working fine on Feb 13 and now no zip codes will map in the visualization. I can switch to county and it will work but not to a zip code. I refreshed to the Feb 2017 Power BI release, but that didn't help. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have a visual that is displaying when I open it in Power BI Desktop but no such luck when I attempt to in the web app. I've had this visual displayed for almost a year with no issues but the last month or so it has been down and I have not been able to fix. below are the details I get. Hi, When I want to use a shape as a background image in a dashboard (not in the Page properties, but on the page itself), it it still selectable. This means that when a user taps or clicks in an empty space on the dashboard, the shape is selected and the other visuals are partially obscured (the shape has focus and this changes the tranparency). It would be nice, in general, if elements on the dashboard could be locked or made unselectable. Bye, Rudi

1) Ghost Borders/Frames on Mouse Hover Please please, allow use to turn off borders when mouse is hovered over a visual(especially Slicers, Images, Shapes). Its so annoying when you try to select an item in a Slicers and the border appears out of nowhere and spoils the whole look of the dashboard! 2) Option to Lock Shapes & Images (or any visual) to remain in background. Use of Shapes and Images is supposed to enhance the look and feel of our reports. As shown in my screenshot above, I am using a gray shape behind my filters, so that its stands out and grabs user's attention. But along with the issue 1), clicking on a Visual(eg: image or shape), immediately brings it to the FRONT and blocks any visual that I placed over it! PLEASE allow use to lock a visuals (specially Shapes and images) to remain in the background. Why is there no concept of ZOrdering in place?

Hi, I keep getting the above error when I open Power BI Desktop. I have tried restarting my computer and reinstalling Power BI but I still get the error. I believe it has something to do with Arc GIS as when I turn it off I no longer get the error. The problem is i need the Arc GIS feature turned on for the Dashboard I am currently working on. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Thanks,

Hi, I am trying to schedule the refresh for my dataset: Edge_PDF_Reliability. When I am trying to select the datagateway it showing its offline. While for other dataset of mine, it is showing me the datagateway in list. Need help asap. Use a data gateway option is disabled. While with other dataset, option to select data gateway is enabled. Even Refresh is not working, here are the details. I am trying to connect to Cygnet (Database) using ODBC. I can successfully connect to it in MS Access using ODBC. When I try in Power BI I get as far as the Navigator screen. I can see the Cygnet database that I am trying to connect to but none of the tables are shown. Any ideas?

Hello, Since February 2017 release, I have experienced an issue with added columns based on value in a measure. Let's say I have 2 columns with revenue from different data sources (revenue1 and revenue2). I created measure called Switcher. Switcher = "Google Analytics" I created column called Revenue. Revenue = IF([Switcher] = "Google Analytics";'Table'[revenue1];'Table'[revenue2]) In my report I use Revenue in a number of visuals and tables and when I need to switch between the sources I simply change the text in Switcher. This solution stopped working with the last program release. When I changed the measure, Revenue column does not change until I delete it and create a new one or make a significant changes in formulas and then change the settings back. Before the update it was instant recalculation based on the text in the measure. I don't know if there is a refresh delay since last update or something like that? I tried this in a blank new report with a CSV sourcew with only two columns with no visuals, but the issue remains. Any ideas? Thanks!
