Hi @iannedrs ,

Did you try delete the AppData Folder for Power BI? You may navigate to the directory on your computer C:\Users\{your actual username}\AppData\Local and delete the AppData folder for Power BI (either 64-Bit or 32-Bit, depending on your installation),then relaunch Power BI Desktop and right-click on the Power BI desktop icon > choose "Run as Administrator".

Hi @rdnguyen

What if you just clicked edit and then saved without making any changes, would you get an error? Do all existing dataflow have this problem?

Hi @fantasea ,

Please try close all instances of Power BI Desktop. Then Open file explorer and navigate to the folder <system drive>:\\Users\\<user>\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Power BI Desktop\\CEF\\cache. Replace <system drive> with your operating system hard disk partition and <user> with your user profile name, delete all contents of this folder.
Finally, restart Power BI Desktop or install the latest version.

Hi @BLSR09

Which version of March did you install? I also have Desktop from March and I can use Power Automate just fine, you might be able to uninstall Desktop and do a fresh install.

Hi @nouraali369 ,

Please make sure the query you’re using in BigQuery doesn’t reference an array index that doesn’t exist.
When importing data into Power BI, the data types in your BigQuery view match the data types in Power BI. If there’s a mismatch, it could cause issues.
It could be caused by null or missing values in your data. check if your data in BigQuery doesn’t contain null or missing values in the arrays.
If you’re using an older version of Power BI, updating to the latest version might help resolve the issue.

Hi @ffirda99 ,

We would like to know what data source you are using?

If you’ve connected to your data source in an unauthorized account, the corresponding credential would be created. You may need to change the credential. Go to “File –> Options and Settings –> Data Source Settings”, under “Global permissions”, select data source connections and click on Edit permission in Power BI Desktop.

Hi @lFahadl ,

Can you describe the exact scenario in which the problem occurs so that we can reproduce your issue?
Is this the latest version of Power BI Desktop?

Hi @Omar_Osman ,

The issue about connecting to SQL Endpoint has been fixed, if your problem still exists,it may need to collect log files for further troubleshooting. Since community support engineers don't have that access, I would suggest opening a Support Ticket. If you are a Power BI Pro or Fabric licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.

For how to create a support ticket, please refer to How to create a support ticket in Power BI - Microsoft Power BI Community

Hi  @mehalam

This seems to be an ADX issue, maybe the CPU expansion hits some limits. You can refer to the documentation below to see if it helps you.

You can also ask your question inside the Azure forums to see if anyone can help you.

Hi @HSpeelman ,

It seems like you’re doing everything correctly according to the documentation. The property should indeed provide a hint regarding the data that is covered by the partitionDataCoverageDefinition. This property is supported when the compatibility level of the database is at 1603 or above, which is the case in your situation (1604).

However, if the property is not found when re-opening the script of the data model, it might be due to some issues with the deployment process. You could try using the Deployment Wizard for deploying model solutions. It uses JSON output files generated from an SQL Server Analysis Services project as input files, which are easily modifiable to customize the deployment.

You may refer to Deploy model solutions by using the Deployment Wizard | Microsoft Learn

Hi  @daniog

You can access the data normally in SharePoint , but when you opened the report that connected to SharePoint before , you cannot load any data , right ? Have you done any updates recently ? Or did you recreate a report to connect to the SharePoint list and see if you can load the data successfully?

Hi @c_sagar_mehta ,

We see that the version you are using is September 2023, please update to the latest version to see if this problem exists.
Since you’re running an older version of Power BI Desktop, updating to the latest version might resolve the issue.

Hi @garich ,

As far as I know there is no setting to automate the process of setting the data source to fetch it from the correct environment (DEV, TEST, PROD)/workspace for these Paginated Reports in Power BI and it still requires manual intervention.

If you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is the right place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
