I'm a server admin trying to get PowerBI Report server ready for our developers to begin using it in place of SSRS 2016.   We installed PowerBI Report Server, the October release, on a Windows 2016 Server that hosts our Test SSRS 2016. We then uploaded all the Data Sources, Datasets, and RDLs that are in SSRS 2016 into PowerBI Reports Server Web Portal.   I was able to configure the DataSource, Data Sets, and most of the RDLs from the Web Portal, but I'm hitting a general error when trying to assign a Datasets for reports that require Datasets.   The only error I receive is below. I checked the Event Logs to find nothing of consequence for this issue.   PowerBI Report Manager > Public Reports > Education Outcomes Continuation Tab > Manage > Shared Datasets >        We have an Dev instance of PowerBI Reports Server that is installed on a Windows 2016 Server without any other Report server products. We recently upgraded to Power BI Report Server on premises.  We have a directory name "President's Office".  While still on SSRS the was no issue with name.  After upgrading we received an error when clicking on the ellipsis in the upper right corner of the folder.  The error persisted for all subfolders.    The error reported is:   An error has occurred. Something went wrong. In the web version of the Power BI Report Server (on-premise) solution, the filter tab does not allow for scrolling. When there are more than a few filters added or when the filters are expanded on a small screen, the rest of the filters get pushed off the screen, making them inaccessible since there is no scrolling capability.   Scrolling of the filters must be implemented for the filters tab to be useable for more than a few filters on the web version of Power BI Report Server. ... Dear all, After the latest upgrade of the Power BI Report Server we have issues with the scroll bars within (the normal) paginated reports on our Reporting Portal. These cannot be moved, only by using the scroll-wheel selections can be made, meaning several minutes of scrolling before arriving at the right selection. 1. All my reports use "import data" from Microsoft SQL Server. 2. I published a report which was around 700mb and it worked fine. **3. This dashboard that i'm trying to publish uses the same import option from sql server, its around 975mb. When i tried to publish this report to the powerbi report server on premisis, i get this error : "Cannot invoke on Cef webBrowser in its current state" and then powerbi closes. &nbsp; I've already spent a lot of time on this, rebuilt my entire report, still same error. We have a reportwhich is developed in the PowerBI server which uses the chicklet visual for filtering along with the standard filter visual. When the when the report is published to Apps the chicklet visuals are not visable although all the other filters work as expected.   The chicklet filters were then relaced with standard filter and then replublished to the App at which time they were visable and worked as expected. ...
