I tested it in the latest version of Power BI but it didn't reproduce your problem.

It's a known issue . PG found a repro and mitigation for this as they continued to investigate:

Mitigation:

   Having the customer flight off useNewDashboard should allow them to see the button to delete the tile again. 

   This can be done by adding the query parameter useNewDashboard=0 to the url they are using example:  https://app.powerbi.com/groups/badc0708-a87c-487d-907c-d055495c8e45/dashboards/06ec2773-f60e-4249-8b...

Hi,

Have you turned on the “Power BI Desktop infrastructure update preview feature” in the desktop setting?

If so, a similar issue has been reported internally, so stay tuned.

 

Problem description: When trying to launch Power Bi Desktop, it throws a frown error when the Power BI Desktop infrastructure update preview feature is enabled but if we disable this feature PBI Desktop launches as expected.

ICM: 279388210

 

As a temporary workaround, I suggest you to go to the setting to turn off the option “Enable infrastructure update preview feature” to make this issue disappear:

You can solve the sorting problem caused by switching parametres by creating a sorting metric.

Can anyone who has encountered this problem tell me how to trigger this error. I tried to reproduce the problem but was unable to do so.

Power BI released the latest version 2.115.842.0 64-bit (March 2023) a few days ago, please download it to see if the problem still exists.

There is no update on the support page about the progress of this issue.
This may be a temporary issue and the engineers have been scrambling to fix it.
It's been a few hours since you posted, have you retried opening the PowerBI service to see if it's working properly?

It's a known issue . The ID is 346379883 . 

Tested workaround : in power bi service edit mode untoggle title and retoggle title and save the report then we can pin the tile to dashboard .

The problem is being fixed, I will come back and update if there is any progress .

We've seen feedback from users in another thread with similar experiences to yours, and my colleagues are investigating this issue in full force. I will give you feedback here if there is any progress.

As a temporary workaround, you can roll back to the previous version first.
