I'm using a Gantt chart to track ownership of assets. All of the below have the same commencement date, and a few months different in end date. As you can see, the start points of the bars are not rendering consistently and some are defaulting to sharp instead of rounded corners. This appears to be a visual bug.

Hello! I have a big problem with data sources connection in PBI Desktop, especially WEB page from Google Spreadsheets. Today I come across with this problem with my existing data, I have been working for a year with these sheets and everything was OK: “The URL may be wrong or you might not have provided the right credentials to the server.” As usual I Publish to the web my online Google sheet) and then I get new Web data to PBI Desktop and nothing =(..I have an empty window. PBI displays: "We didn’t find any tables on this web page. No items selected for preview." http://prntscr.com/vlgucs http://prntscr.com/vlguos Please let me know how to overcome this issue.

I have this chart on my dashboard that shows me a measure per hour. The bars are its medium value for each hour in a period and the error bar are the maximum value for each hour in the period. The problem is, this is the chart on my desktop Power BI: And this is the same chart, with the same data and same filters applied, in the published dashboard: You can see that it ignores the maximum value error bar at the online version. Is there something I can do to fix it? Thx.

The new format pane is missing some critical functionality of the Chiclet Slicer. This entire section (shown using the old format pane) is missing.

I use fields parametr to allow switching Date, Week, Month and Year as a X axis. Every time I use slicer, the X-axis is sorted by my measure, not dates. I can change it manually, but after clicking the slicer again and selecting eg Month, it sorts again by measure, not calendar, which makes using the chart really inconvinient for me and other users. I have a field parameter slicer to control what fields are shown in a column chart (Y-axis). The X-axis is my time dimension (Year -> Month -> Date). On Power BI desktop, everything works as expected. When I select different fields in my field parameter slicer, only the Y-axis changed. However, when I publish the report to Power BI service, when I select different fields in my field parameter slicer, the time/date dimension is expanded all the way down. It is set by month by default but when I click one of the fields in my slicer, it will expand all down one level in the hierarchy.

I tried to import some custom visuals from the Microsoft Visual Store but every time I tried to import one, I get the following error message: It does not matter which custom visual I try to import and it also does not matter if I try to import it in an existing dashboard or in a completely new one. Is there an issue with the Store maybe? I noticed the problem a few Power BI Desktop versions ago. In some (not all) .pbix files a click on Undo button in Power BI Desktop removes all cutom visuals. Before clicking the Undo button: After a click on the Undo button: To reproduce the problem try this file https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/bbxcp95jjrgo1we/Sales%20and%20Marketing%20Sample%20PBIX.pbix. Open it in Power BI Desktop, do something (e.g. change some formatting), click Undo button. When I click Undo it undoes the last action AND removes all custom visuals. They remain on the page as blank placeholders and dissappears from the Visualization pane. They are not being fully removed from the file (their folder and json files remain in the \Report\CustomVisuals folder inside of the .pbix file). Saving, closing and re-opening the .pbix file restores the visuals.

We are using PowerBI certified PowerKPI 2.0 in email subscription via pinning the live report to dashboard , it was working fine for couple of weeks before going all blank . It is very important dashboard and there is no default visual in powerbi to get both line and area charts together hence going for custom visual . Any help is appreciated TIA !!

Hi there, If you create or have a custom channel grouping in GA4 it will break the PBI connector because all dimensions apparently require a description... there is an option to add a description to your custom channel grouping in GA4 but unfortunately, that does not pass through to Google's Analytics Data API. Can we please have the GA4 connector bypass or ignore this condition? Custom Channel Groupings will be in common use for GA4 users, a fix would be much appreciated. Error

I saw yesterday that there was a known issue with python visuals not loading, and checked the power bi status page this morning to see the issue gone. Unfortunately today all my python visuals are still not rendering and returning the 'script runtime error' message with no specifics. These reports have been published/working for months and are now broken. Is the issue resolved? Is there something else I need to do on my end to fix it? I have tried republishing and deleting the dataset/republishing and nothing seems to work. Thanks.

Can we get an Action on Card and KPI visuals? Pretty standard to want to hit a KPI and move to detail for selected metric. In fact, that's the whole idea behind the dashboards (which are essentially worthless becasue you can't use slicers). I know you can float a transparent button over them, but that has drawabacks: 1. It blocks the tooltip ability for the card, which is quite nice. Hover and get at trend, etc. Kills me to lose that 2. Needless overhead and makes report modification really painful, having to go and move both objects. (Selection Pane helps, but still)

Hi, When a custom visual is pinned to a dashboard tooltips are not displayed on mouse over, while native visuals can display their tooltips correctly. In all other contexts (included dashboard in focus mode) tooltips work as expected. We noticed this issue testing our custum visuals and also pinning to a dashboard the sampleBarChart visual provided by Microsoft. Debugging the code we noticed that the method visualhosttooltipservice.show() is called as usual in tooltipServiceWrapper.ts, but nothing is shown.

I have downloaded the November 2021 update and enabled the new format pane. I cannot find how to show the values on the rows for the matrix visual. I am however able to copy matrix visuals where this is already set up. The new update of the OKViz Bullet Chart (2.2.9.4) released on the 19th of July caused some of the bullet charts to render blank. This occurs in the PBI desktop and service. The majority of bullet charts we use started to render blank visuals. This visual is imperative to our business and there is not another visual that adequately replaces the Bullet Chart by OKVIZ. We are very unhappy that the update was not able to happen on the promised date of 7/27/2022.
