My data connections are SharePoint Lists.

@AJZoerner

I cannot repro the same issue with SharePoint Lists data source. Could this dataset be refreshed properly before? If yes, have you tried to delete the dataset in Power BI Service and then publish again from Power BI Desktop?

I do not remember the refresh ever working in Power BI service; I believe it has only worked in Power BI Desktop. I just tried deleting the dataset and re-publishing it and am still getting the same error.

I’m still not able to repro your issue. I suggest you to create a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com (see bottom of page).

Best Regards,

Herbert

@cclark01,

I believe, for me,  this was fixed with an update of Power BI a few months back.

I encountered this problem as soon as I changed from each query pointing to the original source, to each query referencing a single query of the original data source, as recommended here: https://powerpivotpro.com/2017/05/power-query-magic-part-1-always-good-references/
